I am born and raised in Nepal. I received my Bachelor and Master of Science from Tribhuvan University
with a major in Physics. In 2019, I received my Masters of Science in Physics from the University of
Texas at El Paso. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Computational Science Program at the University
of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).
My research at UTEP has focused on studying thermal properties and thermal
anharmonicity in transition metals and alloys (phonons) under high pressure and temperature via molecular dynamics (MD) and
Quasiharmonic approximation (QHA). I am also working on testing classical interatomic force-field models
for modeling material behavior under extreme environments.
